Today in CoaH Kids: Our 2 - 3 yr old class is learning about the prophet Elijah from 1 Kings during the month of June. The theme is God knows everything! In the pre-K - 5th grade classes, four men had faith and brought their paralyzed friend to Jesus. We learned that not only does Jesus have the power to heal, but the authority to forgive our sins.
Read MoreThis past week Pastor Bland gave an illustration to demonstrate an example of community helping us through temptation. In it he mentioned how a woman in his Community Group was dating a non-Christian, that things had gotten physical, and that the community group had supported this woman in ending the relationship.

In the pre-K - 5th grade classes, we continued our unit on Jesus' miracles with the story of Jesus cleansing a man with leprosy. We learned that sin is like a disease that keeps us away from God, but Jesus will take away our sin if we ask Him.
