Today in CoaH Kids, the 2 - 3 year olds focused on Genesis 1:1 - God made everything! In the Pre-K through 5th grade classes, they learned the Parable of the Wedding Feast. The message today was this: Salvation is a free gift. We can’t earn our way into heaven. Jesus did all the work when He died for our sins on the cross. This story reminds us that we need to be clothed in Christ's righteousness. Jesus invites us to join Him in heaven—the great wedding feast. When we receive His invitation, Jesus gets us ready by clothing us in His righteousness.

This week in CoaH Kids the 2 -3 yr old group started a new theme "God made everything!". This theme taken from the story of creation (Gen 1) is the first of many truths your kids will learn this year. In our Pre-K through 5th grade classes, your kids also started a new unit about the Parables of Jesus. Today was my favorite - the parable of the vineyard laborers and the generous farmer (Matt 20: 1-16). We learned that God does not owe us anything, yet He pours out blessings on us. Jesus’ parable teaches about God’s grace. God is generous, and He loves us.
