This week in CoaH Kids the 2 - 3 year old class started a new theme entitled "We love Jesus" which is based out of Luke and Matthew and tells the story of Jesus' birth. In our older kid's ministry, the Pre-K through 5th graders sat together for part 2 of the last supper. This week they learned about Jesus washing His disciples feet as a demonstration of His love and humility towards others. The kids themselves had an opportunity to follow in Jesus' footsteps by washing each other's feet.

Read MoreWhile the 2 - 3 year olds were learning about God's goodness in the story of Abraham and Sarah, our Pre-K through 5th graders were reflecting on Passover in preparation for Jesus' death and resurrection. We are thankful that God sent Jesus to earth to make a new covenant. On the cross, Jesus brought forgiveness and made the way for the people to know and love God again.

In our Pre-K through 5th grade ministry, the kids learned about the widow who gave more than she could afford trusting God to provide for her needs. Jesus gave up everything He had in heaven to come to earth and save us from our sins. Jesus even gave up His own life, dying on the cross in our place. When Christians know and love Jesus, we can serve Him as the Lord of our lives. Out of love for Jesus, we offer everything we have.
