This Week in CoaH Kids

“Well done, good and faithful servant!” Every believer, as a servant of Christ, has the task of serving God with his or her life. We do not sit idly by, afraid of failure, but we serve joyfully for Jesus’ sake. This was the lesson for kids ages Pre-K through 5th grade. The kids were also challenged to think of the gifts God has given them. In our 2 -3 yr old class, the October theme is "Only God is Big" and the lesson is from Genesis 3.

This week in CoaH Kids

Today in CoaH Kids our 2 - 3 year old class had their final lesson on the theme "God made Everything!" This truth is laying the foundation for a later understanding that God is Sovereign. Your kids will have fun telling you about some of the things God made. In our Pre-K though 5th grade ministry, the lesson was on the Parable of the Rich Man & Lazarus. This is a clear picture of life after death and a call for us to share the gospel with others.

This week in CoaH Kids

Today the older kids learned another parable of Jesus. The parable of the faithful servant exhorts us to be ready for the return of Jesus by continuing to faithfully serve Him. Your children were reminded that being respectful and helping around the house are good examples of being obedient to God's commands. In our younger kids, the lesson based on Genesis 1:1 reiterates that God made everything and we are thankful for His gift of life.
