This week our older kids (pre-K though 5th grade) learned more about Jesus appearing to His disciples and many others after His resurrection. We emphasized that God gives us victory over death through Jesus and that our job is to tell others that Jesus is alive! In our 2-3 yr old class, your kids focused on the sovereignty of God using the phrase "Jesus is the Boss". Based on the story from Matthew 8, these little ones learned that the winds and seas obey Jesus.

This week the 2 - 3 yr old class started a new theme called "Jesus is the Boss!" Based on the story about when Jesus calmed the storm in Matthew 8, this lesson lays the foundations for the sovereignty of God in the minds of some of our youngest kids. In our Pre-K through 5th grade ministry, we resumed our regular Gospel Project for Kids curriculum and saw Jesus appearing to the disciples on the road to Emmaus from Luke 24.
